This project was conceived as a resort scheme for a 6.25 acre plot at Badlapur. It consisted of cottages varying in size from 1300 sft to 1500 sft and villas of size 2500 sft. The site had a natural topography sloping from north-west as high side to south-east as low side which was given due respect while exploiting the same for designing split levels cottages and villas providing each of these units with different scenic view of the bhoj dam and its nearby catchment areas, streams and hill surroundings.
The built-up area of the project is 50,000 sft. All statutory approvals from Talathy, Tehsildar, Collector, Irrigarion deptt., MTDC and Asst. Director Town Planning, Thane were rigorously followed up by Ar.Alok with the respective authorities for conversion of the plot from its agriculture status to non-agriculture status to enable sanctioning of the layout plan proposal and commencement of the construction at the site.
