The project involved architectural and interior design of Godrej’s Hair Care Institute in its existing research and development building at Vikhroli, Mumbai to provide high quality retail experience to Godrej’s esteemed clientele for demonstrating to them application and display of assortment of hair care products to give them a unique experience to achieve customer delight.
For this project Ar.Alok Sharma conceived a structural steel staircase with suspended glazing as an addition to the existing structure to achieve transparency of the staircase leading to the institute and to aptly use the large glazing panel for company’s branding. The steel staircase blended well with the existing R & D building and became a unique feature of the project catching the attention of the passer-by and customers alike.
The architectural and interior concept has been developed by Alok as per directions and specific briefs given by Ms.Parmeshwar Godrej in person. The final product did meet the esteemed client’s expectations aptly.
